My First Giveaway

Part of the reason I enjoy cooking and baking is the creative outlet it gives me. With all the work I do with the organized/logical side of my brain, the creative side needs an outlet.

I've been in a creative mood lately and thought I'd share a little bit with you as well. I made a whole batch of children's aprons for Christmas gifts. I was getting ready to make myself one and thought I'd make one for you too.

So, here's the deal. You have until July 14th at 5 PM (central) to leave me a note here with whether you would like a child or adult apron and color preference. I'll randomly pick a winner and make arrangement to produce and ship you one of these lovelies.

Here's a couple of samples (you are not limited to these options):

  1. As you know, I love cooking. but I have never work an apron - maybe I should start!

I am not sure about colour - if you choose me I will let you decide...

  3. So cute! You are so talented! I would love a pink adult one! Have a great day!

  4. Love them! I have many MANY aprons...they are fabulous. :) I would love the top right one in a kids size...Alex would have kittens to get to wear an apron in the kitchen with me!

  5. Hi Janelle! I would like the lower right one in a child's size. So cute!

  6. Anika would love the green/blue flower one in kid size!

  7. What a great idea!!! Even though I have an appron that I used alot. It looks like it too. I would love the have the bottom right if you choose me. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. I have also enjoyed your reciepes and helpful hints and ideas with food.
    Thanks again,
    shirley Miklusicak

  8. Well-
I have had a couple of sleepless nights. I would like to make a design request, but I need to narrow with a few ideas:

    - Maybe a three apron set - so I can give one each to Mike and Andy... "F" for Mike, "AR" for Andy and "GO" for me...

    - Maybe a fargo theme - like polar bears and santa

    - Maybe a montage of some historically significant individuals...Bono, Reagan, and Officer Andy

    - A gaudy U of M apron that I can give to Mike so he can wear it to games (over his regular clothes, of course)

I hope I win. I will let you know when I narrow it down. I welcome other suggestions. You may have to extend the deadline for me.

  9. I would love one in red - my favorite color!!! I buy material to make aprons and then never do - so this just might ease my procrastination!

I'd love to hear your feedback.
